In 2017, the first step was taken by exporting organic coffees under the “Con Manos de Mujer” standard.

Gender Equality
The following years saw steady growth. In 2018 and 2019, 32 partners joined the Women in Coffee Alliance, strengthening the support network among producers. In 2020, the establishment of a project management area led by a woman and the legalization of coffee brands demonstrated the commitment of "Brisas" and PROEXO to women's empowerment.
2021 witnessed the pilot project "Evaluate and Address," focusing on remediation according to the Rainforest standard and the empowerment of the Gender Committee. In 2022, a solid gender strategy ensured 50% equitable participation of women in decision-making bodies and the collaborative staff.

As of 2024, Proexo celebrates a significant achievement by exporting its first container of Brisas Women's Coffee highlighting its commitment to gender inclusion and empowerment in the coffee industry.
